This Episcopalian Church was built by human hands from the rock in the bluffs surrounding it for the Native people of this community many years ago. It stands on the quiet praire in a secluded spot where I feel a peaceful presence when I visit. Its walls are strong and stand firm in the soil just like the community that has restored it.
